Jewelry Care
Your jewelry is made to be worn and loved. A little care will help keep it looking its best for years to come.
Everyday Care
Store your jewelry in a dry place when you're not wearing it. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, lotions, perfumes, household cleaners, and other chemicals. Remove jewelry before swimming or showering, and gently wipe it clean after wear as needed.
Sterling Silver
Sterling silver is made from 92.5% pure silver and naturally develops tarnish over time. This is normal and can be easily removed.
Store sterling silver in a low-humidity environment when you're not wearing it. Your Rebecca Anne Handmade jewelry box includes an anti-tarnish strip to help slow tarnishing. To restore its shine, gently polish your jewelry with a silver polishing cloth or use a cleaner made specifically for sterling silver.
14k Gold Fill
Gold fill offers the look and feel of solid gold at a more accessible price. It is made by permanently bonding a substantial layer of 14k gold to a base-metal core using heat and pressure. Unlike traditional gold plating, gold fill contains significantly more gold and is designed to stand up beautifully to regular wear.
To clean gold-filled jewelry, gently wash with mild soap and warm water, rinse thoroughly, and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and polishing compounds.
14k Rose Gold Fill
Rose gold fill is made in much the same way as yellow gold fill, with a bonded layer of 14k rose gold that gives it its warm pink tone.
Care for rose gold fill gently. Clean with mild soap and warm water and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive polishing cloths, chemical jewelry cleaners, and harsh cleaning products.
